Our Therapists provide a broad range of services including:

Claire Kiernan – Bsc, CORU Reg Physio, MIAPT

Claire Kiernan

Claire Kiernan (B.A., B.Sc., T.C.R.G., M.I.A.P.T.) has been practicing physical therapy in private practice for over ten years. Physical therapy is a hands-on and natural treatment that helps maintain and restore optimal movement and functional ability for the body. Since 2013, she has successfully built up her private practice, trained and worked as a tutor and clinic supervisor with IPTAS, and served as a committee member with the Irish Association of Physical Therapists (2015-2018).

Claire combines her busy practice with her role as an ergonomic assessor for Spectrum Health Ltd. She has a keen interest in Irish dancing and is a current member of the Comhdháil na Múinteoirí le Rinci Gaelacha, having practiced the art since the age of 4 and competed until the age of 21. She has taught Irish dancing alongside her sister at the Pamela Kiernan Academy of Irish Dance for the last 18 years. Passionate about the field, she regularly works with emerging dancers, treating and helping them to prevent dance-related injuries.

At OneBody, Claire works as a senior therapist, where she enjoys treating a broad spectrum of clients.

Cormac Palmer – Sports Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer

Cormac Palmer is an experienced fitness professional with a solid background in personal training, sports massage, and rehabilitation. He began his career at Killashee Leisure Centre, progressing from an Instructor and Personal Trainer role to a managerial position. During his time there, he furthered his expertise by completing practical studies in Sports Massage at Sprint College. This additional training enabled him to develop personalized fitness and post-physiotherapy plans, helping numerous members achieve their health and fitness goals.

A passionate rugby player since the age of 12, Cormac remains actively involved with Clane Rugby Club, where he oversees their Strength and Conditioning programs, conducts fitness sessions, and manages weekly rehabilitation work.

Cormac has since joined the team at OneBody, a Pain and Movement Clinic in Stillorgan, Dublin. At OneBody, he offers deep tissue sports massage and one-on-one training programs tailored to fitness, strength, and post-physiotherapy care. Dedicated to continuous professional development, Cormac regularly completes CPD courses to ensure his skills remain at the highest standard.

Yvonne Parnell - BSc, MSc, CORU Reg Physio, MIAPT

yvonne_parnell

I initially started out my career working in financial services but became interested in physical health and well-being after sustaining a spinal injury in 2005.  My injury forced me to withdraw from many of the activities that I loved to do and I found the recovery process slow and frustrating. So much so that I began training as a Physical Therapist with the Institute of Physical Therapy and Applied Science (IPTAS) in 2006 so that I could understand the body’s healing process in greater depth. Little did I know that I would find the whole area fascinating and it would shape the future of my working career. I qualified as a Therapist in 2009, left my role in financial services and I have been working as a Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist ever since.

Since 2009 I have set-up and operated two Physiotherapy clinics,  trained and worked as a tutor with IPTAS and served as a committee member with the Irish Association of Physical Therapists (2015-2017).

At Onebody, I work as a Senior Therapist where I enjoy treating a broad spectrum of clients. I have a keen interest in spinal injuries, chronic conditions and pregnancy related conditions.
